A 4.4 x 4.2 x 3.8 cm mass of galena, this hosting a sharp gemmy transparent glassy lustrous stout terminated anglesite crystal measuring 1.5 x 1.4 x 0.8 cm in size. Shows nicely all around - no damage. The color is just very slightly yellow to colorless. A superb "toe-nail" azurite specimen! Measuring 2.8 x 2.0 x 0.9 cm in size, this consists of lustrous complex striated deep blue crystals of terminated azurite forming a cluster with little matrix on the back. No damage and shows mostly all around as seen in the photos. The quality is very high. A "knob" of pale pink rose quartz crystals measuring 3.5 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm in size, these partly coated by excellent translucent brown needle-like crystals of eosphorite to 0.3 cm in length. Shows all around 360 degrees. Under a 10x loupe one can find several of the eosphorite crystals are not terminated; to the naked eye this is very clean of damage and quite good for the species. An outstanding combination piece from this famous locality! Pale purple near transparent cubic crystals of fluorite to 3.3 cm on edge are set on one end of a brilliant lustrous crystallized "matrix" of galena. Minor red sparkling micro sphalerite in association. This is complete all around 360 degrees and in excellent condition damage-wise. A classic combination piece for this famous locality consisting of a 8.9 x 8.1 x 2.4 cm grouping of lustrous black sphalerite crystals, at the top a pale green partly transparent lustrous octahedral crystal grouping of fluorite measuring 3.6 cm across. The fluorite is "crowned" by spiky colorless crystals of small calcite. These show on the back of the piece as seen in the last photo. The largest sphalerite crystals measure to 3.4 cm. No damage. Choice lustrous cubic crystals of galena to 1.9 cm on edge are forming a tight cluster upon a 5.1 x 4.7 x 3.4 cm matrix. Red micro crystals of "ruby jack" sphalerite in association. Glassy water clear gem quality crystals of amethyst forming a parallel cluster without any real matrix. Complete all around - one microscopic chip is present on the back of the termination. A 8.9 x 7.4 x 3.2 cm matrix is covered by glassy lustrous mostly transparent quartz crystals to 3.7 cm in size. The crystals show internal phantom crystals lined by hematite inclusions. Small sparkling green crystals of epidote are scattered throughout the quartz. Collected in 2003/2004. No damage and of very good quality for one of these neat combination pieces.
